The venue is formed within a conference room at Apex Grassmarket Hotel.

The room is approximately square with one entrance for audience and loading in. There are full dressing room and storage facilities adjacent to the performance space. This venue has full disabled access for audience and performers. 

Audience seating is formed on three levels. The stage is floor level with no raise, equipped with black tabs to side and rear, with wings on the left and right, as well as a crossover between wings. The room is equipped with our standard adaptable sound and lighting systems.

Sound Equipment:

Full range speakers will be pole or tripod mounted on either side of the stage. Standard input options include two microphones and digital player inputs. 

Lighting:

Due to power limitations, the lighting system should only be used to output a maximum of 3,000 watts at any time. Power for lighting is from a 13amp supply shared with sound and on-stage power.

8 channels of dimming (maximum 1kw per channel) with a manual 2-preset control desk.  A typical lighting setup would include: 4 x 50watt Par16 birdies for footlights, 1 x 500watt profile, 4 x 500 watt fresnels, and 2 x 300 watt Par56 parcans.
