Sweet Venues is delighted to offer a wide-range of venue options in Brighton, with our amazing year-round offerings, as well as numerous pop-up spaces for the duration of the Brighton Fringe.

The Dukebox Theatre opened in November 2012, and plays host to a variety of shows, including theatre, comedy, cabaret, music, and poetry. We also hold regular weekly acting classes. The theatre won the Latest Award for Best Venue at the Brighton Festival and Fringe in 2013. The Dukebox Theatre joined Sweet Venues in 2015.

Based at The Iron Duke pub and guest house, patrons have access to everything under one roof – a cosy pub and B&B, a delicious restaurant, and a theatre to provide the evening’s entertainment. With central Brighton just 10 minutes walk away, the location is perfect for getting out of the town centre, but still having easy access to everything you could want!

The theatre is also available as a function room for private parties – for more info, please ask at the bar, or phone the pub on 01273 734806. (Please note this is not a booking line for tickets for the theatre.)

For Brighton Fringe 2017, we are delighted to once again be programming shows at St Andrew’s Church, located directly opposite the Iron Duke pub. This beautiful space has wonderful acoustics and seats 100+.

We are also delighted to be returning to our spaces located at Jury’s Inn Brighton Waterfront. We are bringing new productions and events throughout May to our Waterfront rooms, with Waterfront 1 seating 60, and Waterfront 2 seating 30.

Applications for all venues available for Brighton Fringe 2017 will open from October 2016 and technical details can be downloaded from the tab above.

All our venues have full disabled access.

Please note that, due to licensing restrictions, under 18s are not allowed in Sweet Dukebox after 8pm.

All our other Brighton venues are fully accessible to all ages.
